It’s Scorpio Season — And Scorpio is one of the most profound and emotional energies.  This water sign has a reputation for being "evil," when in reality, it simply symbolizes the darkest parts of the human psyche. It's easy to feel intimidated by what this sign stands for, (trust us we do at times) but it also reminds you to embrace both the yin and yang, the light and dark which are lies within each of us. Change is the only thing that's constant, and with this Pluto-ruled season officially in session, we are choosing to surrender to its mystifying vibration and anchor into trust.

Here are some of the self care items we are loving this Scorpio season — from scents to juices to tarot. We’re here for anything that centers us and makes us feel loved and nourished as we navigate through some more mysterious times.

Some of our go to buys at our local bodega...especially good after a long weekend out with friends...We love the Teonic I Love My Gut: Digestion Tea and the Man fe la Turmeric Shot made locally, right in Brooklyn. (We also love their ginger shot!)

Did you know that 80% of your bodys immune system is located in the gut? So, having a healthy gut is truly the foundation of good health. We love this brand and can actually tell it helps soothe indigestion improve overall energy and immunity so we recommend you give it a try!

  2. With it being Halloween season we’ve naturally gravitated towards this cheeky, witchy read — WTF is Tarot?: ...& How Do I Do It? by Bakara Wintner. We randomly came across this book at this cute crystal store in WIlliamsburg, Brooklyn and felt the call to buy it and explore. Some takeaways: tarot is a tool that can help us look inside of ourself, to listen to the patterns and stories that already exist and pull them to the front of our consciousness. We were even inspired to name one of our new suits in our upcoming spring 2021 collection after one of our fav cards discovered in this book, called the High Priestess. (known for Intuition, sacred knowledge, divine feminine and the subconscious mind.) It’s playful and fun so if you feel the call, give it a go.

  3. Sandalwood Candle — We love embodying fire during this seductive season and one of our favorite scents for fall weather is sandalwood. This sacred scent has calming properties, can make you relax deeply and balance your feelings, by purifying your negative energy and making you feel more positive. It is good to use when you want a hope for the future and thats exactly what last nights full moon was calling for — manifesting what you want and being specific about itWe love a good candle because tapping into our senses makes us feel some type of way.

  4. Prabhuji's Gifts: Root Energy Center Incense — Smelling of sandalwood, khus, patchouli & close we love burning this incense during our time of prayer and meditation when we're grounding.

And most recently Our Founder has been doing her beautiful Soul Sister and Friend, Dany’s, Friends of Rose Experience — awakening to the divine feminine workshop.

Each full moon/each month we focus on a new chakra and carry our learnings into the month ahead. The one we have been focusing on most recently is the Sacral Chakra for grounding and serenity so we treated ourselves to some new incense to really amplify our experience and have positive scents to soothe us as we continue to go deeper. (An inexpensive way to totally transform your mood.)

  5. And, of course, our fav UNIFY piece this month — the Count You Twice Crop Top in the perfect fall print — Primary Lineage. We’ve been wearing it with sweats as loungewear for a work from home vibe, with leggings for a midday yoga flow look or layered up for a cute Saturday Day look with jeans.

As we shift into a new week and new month, let’s recharge, reflect and prepare for the week ahead.

What are your favorite self care items and practices that you could reconnect with? What makes your soul feel good, grounded and centered to take on anything? We encourage you, UNIFY Goddesses, to take a few minutes to jot down your favorites and carve our some time this week to do them.
